It takes a village to put on Vintage Motorcycle Days each year. Dozens of AMA staff do the heavy lifting, but without financial support from our generous sponsors and on-the-ground assistance from our army of tireless volunteers, VMD would never even get off the ground. VMD would never happen without the help from hundreds of dedicated volunteers each year. Whether it’s acting as a corner worker or course marshal for one of the many racing events, helping to direct traffic on the grounds, or assisting with registration for one of the many AMA-sponsored activities, there are countless ways you can contribute for as long or as short as you’d like. If you aren’t already a member, please join the American Motorcyclist Association today: Join the AMA. Not only does the AMA organize incredible festivals like Vintage Motorcycle Days, but the AMA also sanctions racing competitions of all types in all disciplines, promotes recreational riding events across the country, and fights to promote and protect motorcyclists’ rights at every level from local to national. There is strength in numbers, and we need every motorcycle enthusiast in America to be on board!
